Friends of the DCF Kids Fund,
It’s with pleasure that Saf Caruso and I announce that Jennifer Kitchenham has joined the DCF Kids Fund as its new Executive Director, succeeding Saf. Jennifer has a terrific background and we’re delighted she accepted our offer to lead the Fund. Saf Caruso was named to the Fund’s board of directors, so she will continue to be actively involved in the Fund. Below is a short bio on Jennifer. Please join me in welcoming her to the Fund.
Jennifer Kitchenham has been employed with the Department of Children and Families since April 1999. She has been in the field of social work for 20 years with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, minor in Women’s Studies and a concentration in Human Services. Jennifer has been an advocate for children and families through out her career. Jennifer is married and has two children.
Jennifer has been working with foster and adoptive families specifically for 13 years which inspired her to create a non-profit 501c3 for foster children on the South Shore. Raising awareness and to provide enrichment support for children who are involved with the Department of Children and Families is a strong passion of Jennifer’s. This passion has led her to her current position of the Executive Director of the DCF Kids Fund. She is a graduate of Quinnipiac University.
